Salmon River Partners has been a minority investor in this private equity opportunity, JL Filtration, after it was acquired by Altos Partners in June 2000.  Mr. Leavitt served as the transition CEO on behalf of Altos Partners to successfully lead the carve-out of JL Filtration from Clean Harbors Inc.  The company provides environmental water treatment solutions such as cloth and charcoal filters along with water-pumping services.   (www.jlfiltration.com)
